Hello. Great job, if I wasn’t so busy with my school work I read your whole site. Thanks!

I love reading your reviews. A suggestion…You should review 9th Street Bakery Cafe. I just ate there after a friend from Raleigh (go figure) said they had a cafe. I had no idea, and I’ve missed them since their actual 9th Street days. The lunch was phenomenal. Learned from the owner that the veggies are grown by him (local and organic)! Besides being delicious, it was very reasonably priced – sandwich with chips and a pickle for $5.50. Just doing my part to spread the word.

This site is awesome! I have an interview in Durham on Monday and this is making the town look very cool, especially not knowing anyone!

personal fav is Super Taqueria on Roxboro – nice indoor seating and good al pastor and tamale de elote. Los Comales also on Roxboro has papusas and great chorizo. La Vaquita for barbaqoa but no indoor seating.

yes – for atmosphere and the beer. But if you only have one casual dinner in town – i’d do geer st. garden/then walk to half block to full steam and surf city for beer and a good feel of Durham.

And everyone one of us would probably give you a different opinion on that! I prefer BCBB to Geer St. Garden, overall, though I do agree with needing to walk up Riggsbee to get a good feel for the changing bar/food scene up that way.
