Pop’s Backdoor South has opened in Hope Valley Square shopping center next to the Shannon Plaza post office at the corner of Shannon Rd. and Old Chapel Hill Rd.

Bavarian Brathaus has opened in Durham – on Chapel Hill Blvd (15-501 business) next to Shabu Shabu in the former O’Charley’s/Grady’s American Grill location.

I stopped by on Friday after work to make a reservation and picked up some brats (traditional and garlic) while I was there. I am not a bratmeister so I can’t speal from vast experience, but I thought they were quite tasty. I am lokking forward to trying some dark beer and other menu items when our group goes for dinner in a few weeks.
