Uh...every Indian restaurant sells roti. It is an Indian dish that was brought to the Caribbean after all.

You can get roti at Golden Krust, located at 3600 N. Duke St. They are the only place in the Triangle area that sells roti (the person that did it at N. Miami now works there).

Here's a review of Caribbean Paradise (which also has photos of the menu and restaurant)- for some reason, it doesn't come up in the regular search on Yelp...

Jamaica Jamaica is okay... Lets not get too excited, they have had changes in management, and the cooks have changed. Not what it use to be years ago. And I will leave it at that...

The Jamaican Restaurant you refer to is Caribbean Paradise 2022 Angier Avenue. I have been there a couple of times. I thought the food was flavorful, but what do I know. I am not from Jamacia. I am going to get my co-worker that is from the islands to try some of the food. It is authentic, but whether it is good on the Caribbean scale is a question only my co-worker can answer.

There's a new place over on angier and driver. I haven't been, but it looks ok. I can't remember the name, but its pretty much across the street from that new hot dog place people seem to like. I think if you're in the neighborhood it could be worth a go.

I was lured into Jamaica, Jamaica looking for Roti the other day. Sadly there was none nor was there any coco bread. Has anyone been able to get this for lunch? I have to agree with the reviews so far, Jerk was great, sides were... well not that great. Does anyone know where to get Roti in Durham? I used to see a sign advertising Roti outside a Jamaican place off S. Miami, but last time I was in the neighborhood (admittedly not all that often) it was closed.

I have eaten here on many occasions for dinner. The jerk chicken has always been wonderful. I order coco bread every time, and they've had it every time. With the beans, rice and plantains, I probably do not need another starch, but it tastes so good. I know Jamaica, Jamaica is usually slammed for lunch with the RTP crowd, so maybe you need to get there earlier if you want the bread with your lunch.

Yikes! I did like the jerk but I don't think I'd go back, especially after knowing the coco bread is always missing unless I had a huge hankering for some.

We tried this on saturday. Waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food, which wasn't that great. We watched about 15 take-out orders leave the place before we even got our patties, which were ready in a warmer the whole time.

I can see how this place might be good if you live in the area, and can go for lunch or something, but dinner was terrible. The Jerk chicken was just ok, as for the patties, I think I didn't like them texturally rather than because of anything inherent in the patties.

I was mostly disappointed because I love Jamaican food, and the positive reviews here made me hopeful. What can you do.

My husband gets these things there that are called Jamaican patties...they are kind of like Jamaican hot pockets and are filled with meat. They are super cheap if you order them by themselves.
