I hope these guys do well. It is an awesome location and they have some good food options. My only complaint is that they are a sports bar/cafe with 50 TVs and they never have live games on unless requested. You have to ask about three different people to get them to put on a live game. They usually have ESPN on about 20 sets. The night of the MLB all-star game - my friends reported that they didn't have that game on until requested! You would think that they would designate somebody to put live sports on the TV. It also makes it difficult when the hostess asks you where you want to sit. Most fans want to sit where they can see their game, but since the games aren't on in advance it kind of screws up that initial hostess/diner interaction. They do a much better job with the TVs at the Raleigh location. Let's hope they get this figured out before NFL season, otherwise it will be pretty chaotic in there at 1:08 pm on Sundays.

I've eaten there twice, both at lunch and dinner, both times had the Fish Tacos - excellent! If you go there on a play or game night, give yourself plenty of time. They do accept reservations but you must call 30 minutes before you get there.

Corrina,
We REALLY wanted to open last week and it frustrated all of us that we couldn't open at the start of the season. But, despite the temptation, we knew that it wouldn't be a good idea to open just yet. Our kitchen and entire staff needed additional training to ensure we could handle the crowd that might come on a Bulls game day. Otherwise, it could have been a disaster (if we rushed to open).

We already love being in Durham. We're also trying to show both Durham and the Bulls some love by hosting this contest for Durham non-profits and signing on as a Durham Bulls sponsor:

I hope that they respect Durham and the Bulls and give us some love on their website. They are finally planning to open tomorrow, 4/27, while the bulls are on the road for the next 2 weeks. Good planning.

This sounds fantastic! The Durham Bulls was our reason for moving here in 2001 and anything that can provide us a view of the game is definitely a winner in our book! Good luck!

First of all ATC doesn't have a Saladelia so much as a small station that isn't even open during dinner hours.. at least not when I've been there. Secondly, while it makes sense to have a sports bar (okay cafe) in the general area, I don't think this is going to help the are at all. We shall see how it pans out.
