Liberación Juice Station – a reason to get up on a Saturday morning

Liberación Juice Station
Based out of Chatham County, Liberación Juice makes the journey to Durham on Saturday mornings and sets up at the farmers’ market next to the Scrap Exchange. The bright green bus, run by Zulayka Santiago, blares cheerful music, encourages hula hooping and offers up tasty, organic smoothies.
In addition to their nutrient-packed smoothies, Liberación Juice serves fresh-pressed juices, teas and a warm hot chocolate drink for the cooler months.

We tried the green liberation (a kale, banana, ginger concoction) and the luscious monkey (bananas, peanut butter and almond milk). Both were tasty and satisfying.
