Right – you pay $4 to get in and then you buy coins for $1 each to buy food or for the wine/beer tastings.
Weeping Radish was indeed at the Studebaker building. I think they only have one location now since the bier garten in Manteo closed. And yes, definitely a German focus. I remember liking the dark lager (Black Radish, I think) quite a bit.

Weeping Radish used to have a Durham location – round about the Studebaker building on N. Duke St. The did some brewing and had a restaurant as well. German cuisine, I think.

cool…i’ve got a visiting parent to entertain this weekend…lol

so, it looks like admission…plus any number of these coins to cover food and drinks at any given table…1-5 coins for food at each table, and 2-6 coins for beer/wine samples at each table…2 coins for “commemorative glass”

so, you likely come out of there still dropping $20 per person, give or take…but you do sample places…hmmm
